Badr Route Guide: Visiting Badr by Taxi
Badr is where the first great battle of Islam took place in 2 AH. It lies about 150 km southwest of Madinah, so pilgrims either visit it as a day trip from Madinah or stop there on the way between Madinah and Makkah.
You can visit Badr in two ways with Zikr Cabs: a return day trip from your Madinah hotel, from SAR 300 (Sedan), or a one-way transfer via Badr: Madinah to Makkah from SAR 420, Makkah to Madinah from SAR 400.
What you see at Badr

- Day trip from Madinah: about 2 hours each way, return to your hotel the same day. From SAR 300.
- Madinah to Makkah via Badr: a stop at Badr on your way to Makkah. You also stop at the miqat Dhul Hulaifah for ihram. From SAR 420.
- Makkah to Madinah via Badr: from SAR 400.

- Leave early in summer; the plain is very hot after midday.
- Carry water and hats.
