Good to know before your Makkah to Madinah trip
Many families prefer a taxi over the Haramain train because the car goes door to door: no carrying suitcases through two stations and no separate taxis at both ends. It also suits elderly pilgrims, wheelchair users and groups with lots of luggage.
We recommend leaving Makkah after Fajr or after Isha to avoid the heat and the traffic. Your driver will stop at a clean service station with a masjid for prayer. If you would like to visit the historic site of the Battle of Badr, just ask when booking.
Please tell us your Madinah hotel name in advance. Some streets in the Markaziyah (central area) have restricted access, and your driver will use the closest permitted drop-off point.
What is included in your Makkah to Madinah transfer
- A private vehicle for your group only; your ride is never shared with other passengers.
- Help with luggage, wheelchairs and Zamzam containers at pickup and drop-off.
- Stops for salah, wudu and rest on longer journeys, whenever you ask.
Why pilgrims choose Zikr Cabs for Makkah to Madinah
