Family Taxi with a Child Seat for Umrah
Umrah with little ones is a blessing, but long drives such as Jeddah Airport to Makkah or Makkah to Madinah need some planning. A child seat keeps a young child safer and calmer on the road.
Please ask about a child seat when you book. We will confirm whether one is available for your date. If we cannot confirm one, you can bring your own seat from home.
How to request a child seat
- Tell us the age and approximate weight of each child.
- Say whether you need a baby seat, a child seat or a booster.
- Share your route, date and time.
- We will confirm on WhatsApp whether a seat is available. If not, we will tell you so you can bring your own.
Bringing your own seat
Many airlines let you check in a child seat. If you bring one, tell us so we choose a vehicle with enough space, and allow a few minutes at pickup to fit it.
Choosing a family vehicle
A sedan suits two adults and one or two small children with light luggage. With a pram, several suitcases or more children, choose a Hyundai H1/Staria, Kia Carnival or GMC Yukon.

Tips for long drives with children
- Plan the Makkah to Madinah drive (about 4–5 hours) around nap times.
- Pack snacks, water, wipes and a change of clothes in a small bag.
- Ask the driver for a stop if a child needs a break.
- Keep children in their seats while the car is moving.
